About Me

I grew up in a very small town in central Virginia at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor's degree in Biology, then I went to the University of Tennessee to complete my PharmD. Upon graduation, I moved back to Virginia where I worked for one year before moving to the Charlotte area. Through school and professional experience, I've worked in many different environments, but one thing stays the same: the desire to help others. After seeing how overly-medicated many people are in the community, I follow a less is more way of thinking and like to look at your whole health picture. In my free time I love spending time in the mountains or on the coast somewhere with my husband and three daughters.

It has taken me a long time to figure out how to use my knowledge and understanding of how medications, activity,  and diet all work together within our bodies. Over the last few years we've all watched this country battle unknowns with health and wellness, but what remains true is our ability to direct so much of our own health. That's where I come in. I'm here to help with all things healthy living. Through a combination of diet, exercise, supplements, and medications when needed I know we can all get to feeling much better in this crazy world we live in.
